Workshop description: The level 1 workshop is an introduction to surfing biomechanics. The science that studies motion. This can change the way you see the sport. Have a dive into surfing science and how the way you move your body directly translates into surfboard movement. This includes. Over the course of 2 days 11 + Hours of Technical surf course. Biomechanics Foundation course • Learning cycle intro. • Hip dissociation (Surfing Biomechanics) + Weight distribution. • Speed generation Front side. Muscle memory session. Make the movements automatic. • Speed generation on the land drill. • Surf skate speed generation drill Frontside. Depending on waves Surf session with video analysis. NOTE: If it’s impossible due to bad or "UNsurfable" waves then the backside Introduction will be added to the workshop. A surf session with Video analysis to end the course to test the new techniques and make them unconscious. Video analysis is a very powerful tool that will change your surfing forever if in combination with this course. Ice immersion Recovery + breathing exercise at the end of the course.
